trying to remember...

so we are very much in the midst of all our paperwork and hope to have it complete by this weekend. the big thing we have to do is a 30 question self-study. it asks stuff like "describe your childhood, what goals do you have for your family, what ideas to you want to impart on your child, how did you and your spouse meet, how will a child impact your life, what will be your methods of disciplining your child, how do you see your child being accepted by the community, what issues do you for see with your child". oh my goodness. like i said, these people will know us better than we know ourselves after this whole thing is over. but we are pushing through. i'm trying to do 1-2 questions a day because each answer is so long. it's crazy. plus my memory is so bad. when it asks about my childhood the only thing i can remember is ross singing this Armageddon song and dancing around the living room (sorry ross, i love you). and then you ask yourself what information do they really want to know. i can be a detailed person if i want to be. like the story of how brian and i met. that is the longest story ever and then we decide to date and get married and it's over (for those of you who don't know the story it is a great one). so how much information do they really want to know? anyways... we have our physical tomorrow and our psychological evaluation next week and we should be done with all our paperwork part. then comes the homestudy with all the interviews and checking of our house and fun stuff like that. so just keep praying us through. we love you all.

Father God,

I just pray for my friends in this crazy time... I pray that as they fill out these mounds of paperwork, that they would no sooner touch the pen to the paper, than it would be done. That You would make it fly by- the answers filled out just they way they need to be and it felt like no time at all to Brian and Audra. Make this time go quickly Father so they wouldn't lose perspective of the bigger picture. Carry Your kids through this task that You have set before them. They love You, God. Bless them. Amen.
