yesterday was our second PATH class. it was filled with much more information than our first class. we learned all about roles of a resource parent (foster parent) and what the role of the department of children services. we were probably overwhelmed with the information and how crazy the system is. we watched a video of youth who were taken into foster care in their teenage years and how it affected them. we also learned of the long term effects of the different things a child might go through before and while in the foster system. just like all the orphans around the world there is such an urgency. we need people to step up and help.
we continue to be excited about where God is leading us. we still have lots of paper work to fill out and several things we need to get done. we both have physicals in the next week so that will be fun. we covet your prayers as we continue to walk this journey. our next class is saturday and then we will be off till december.
